Christina -- I'm still getting calls about the beautiful concert you and your guests presented at the South Britain Congregational Church on May 7, 2011. Once again, your voice just continues to amaze everyone. David and Eric were also incredible as was the adorable Gwendolyn playing her violin with such ease. Thank you to all of you, and especially Tony, for putting together "Memorable Moments in Music" for our church. You can still hear the music.....
Best, June

I’ve been to several of your concerts and have always been very impressed by your wonderful voice and your impeccable presentation of opera arias. I was at the fundraiser for “Swim Across the Sound” at the Holiday Inn last week. All I can say is that the 500 people in the room were all moved and inspired by your stirring version of our National Anthem. That was apparent from the ovation that you received. I had the opportunity to speak with the guest of honor, Larry Lucchino, president of the Boston Red Sox, and he told me that you are welcome to sing the Anthem at Fenway Park any time you wish to do so. Thanks for the beautiful memory.

Dear Christina
I heard you sing at the Klein on Saturday evening with the marine band. You were absolutely wonderful. This was not the first time I have heard you sing and I am sure it will not be the last. Your stage presence and superb voice far outshine anyone you've sung with in concert.

Christina - It has been two weeks since the concert at our church in South Britain and the comments regarding your beautiful voice continue. All the things a great singer needs -- technical perfection, diction, and abundant feeling were so evident in your performance. Over and over again people have come to me and said you took them from an unhappy place in their lives to one of joy. Continue to do just what you are doing because it is absolutely perfect. We look forward to hearing and seeing you again. Regards to you and your family.

Dear Christina,
It’s been a week since you appeared at the concert in the Congregational Church in South Britain. I am making mention of the time frame simply because although a week has passed I still can hear and feel your beautiful voice singing in my ears! For instance, your rendition of Vanilla Ice Cream was so powerful that I cannot chase the song out of my mind! And on those rare occasions that I am able to chase the song away, lo and behold I suddenly am hearing you and Emily singing The Flower Duet from Delibes’ Lakme, your interpretation of which was compelling.
The finest concert halls of the world deserve the presence of your voice. I’m sure that you realize that your voice is a gift from God and it pleases me to know that you are amply aware of your gift.
I have had the privilege of attending many of your concerts and each time that I hear your voice I cannot help but come away feeling that your voice is getting better and better to the point where I can honestly say…the diva is in!
Thank you, Christina, for a wonderful performance. Now if you’ll excuse me I must get back to Vanilla Ice Cream!
God bless you and your family,
Angelo Cocco

Christina,
I have not heard you play but heard you are fantastic. My Mother is a bit of an Opera singer and I am hoping to buy her tickets (for Mothers Day) to hear you perform. She lives in Manhattan. I could not get upcoming event s to show on this site. Can you let me know?
Thank you!

The concert in South Britain was just incredible. Your producer was right about the intimacy of the church and the fabulous acoustics. It was like a production of “opera’s greatest hits”. He was also right about the duet from Lakme. When Tadeusz sang “Maria” one of the lines is “the most beautiful sound I’ve ever heard”. Well, when your voice blended with Emily Righter’s voice in the Lakme duet, the result was “the most beautiful sound I’ve ever heard”. Thanks for the stunning performance.

Brava, Christina! Your performance at Sunday’s concert was spectacular. Linda and I brought seven other couples to the concert and they all agreed that it was the best operatic concert any of them have ever attended. The only debate was whether you are the perfect “Mimi” in La Boheme or the perfect “Violetta” in La Traviata. Honestly, I feel that you are both. Please pass on our congratulations to the other fine singers as well. Thanks also to Tony for keeping us informed about your appearances. We’ll always be there!

Please accept my heartfelt thanks for your performance at the South Britain Church. All of you were phenomenal. I particularly enjoyed the La Boheme segment with the tenor and the Flower Duet from the opera Lakme. Your voice blended perfectly with the mezzo soprano, Emily. I’ll look at this site for your next performance.

By the way you presented the songs with the Marine Band, I can tell that you have a respect for the beauty of the music and great sensitivity to the meaning of the lyrics. Your voice is simply beautiful. Congratulations on a great performance.

You were fantastic with the Marine Band. Your version of “America the Beautiful” brought me and my wife to tears. We loved you so much that we came back the next night just to hear you again. You are a great interpreter of the music that you were singing. I can see that the Band members were in awe of you. Wonderful job!

I am a friend of your producer and he has been telling me about you for years. I never attended any of your concerts because I don’t know anything about opera. I must tell you that I loved the opera arias that you sang, but I also was blown away by the other popular music that you performed. You are definitely the whole package. I was sitting next to the reviewer from the newspaper and he remarked that he had never heard such a completely beautiful soprano voice. Now I know why everyone is so proud of you. Best of luck in the future.

After seeing you in the concert in Stratford, we attended your concert last Saturday in Southbury. You were at the top of your game once again! Your voice was equally as awesome as it was in Stratford and the way you presented the arias was absolutely fabulous. I didn’t think you could get any better than you were the last time we saw you, but you were.

Christina,
Thanks for the update. Your website is wonderful. I just sang with Carol Ann Maxwell this summer and am having lunch with her in a couple of weeks. I'll be sure to make the connection for her. John and I will check the calendar. We are spending most weekends working on my Aunt's house in MA and am trying to get it rented so I hope that we will be in town. Miss seeing you at St. Paul's. Love to everyone. Hope:)

We attended the concert in Branford where you appeared with the great tenor Roberto Iarussi. Both of you were wonderful. I must tell you that I have never heard a presentation of Verdi’s “Addio del passato” from “La Traviata” performed any better than how you performed this great piece. You are a natural “Violetta”! It was a joy to hear, as were the other arias that you performed. You must have worked very hard to be able to do what you did last night. Congratulations on a stunning performance!

Your performance last night in Branford was simply amazing! Your interpretation of the arias was “right on the money” and your voice is an absolute delight. Somehow, you are able to produce a marvelously strong sound while still maintaining the coloratura aspects of your beautiful voice! We hope to be hearing you again very soon. Brava!

Christina, I used to garden on Brightfield Lane and listen to you practice at your grandmother's. I loved hearing your voice and was delighted you had such a talent.
Then we moved over to West Parish Road and I lost touch with your family. The other day, I ran into your mother at the StopnShop and found that you are a mother now and still singing. She sent me the clipping from the Post afterward, and I read about your career.
I would love to see you perform and am proud that you perservered. Mary Maynard

We were at the event where you performed in New York on December 14th as guests of Citi-Smith Barney. I know I speak for everyone at our table when I tell you that you were absolutely wonderful. We all enjoyed the arias and the songs as well. You were blessed with a magnificent voice and you have obviously developed a beautiful manner in which to present that exquisite instrument to an appreciative audience. We have season tickets at the Metropolitan Opera and we know that we will be seeing you there very soon.

Dearest Christina,
I have enjoyed two of your concerts and look forward to many more! My mother who is living in a nursing home and confined to a wheelchair always asks for your CD to be played. I hope next spring or summer to treat her to a concert. We both agree you have the most angelique voice.
God bless you and your family.

I am a soprano and have been singing for over 20 years. Your performance last Saturday was truly a “tour de force”. I so admire your vocal range and your ability to smoothly segue from a most difficult operatic aria to a popular Broadway selection. Your presentation and interpretation of the music was superb. All I can say over and over again is “Brava Christina”!!

Christina, I had the pleasure of hearing your concert on October 20th in Stratford. Your voice is beautiful and your range memorable. I was particuarly impressed by your rendition of Gounod's "Jewel Song". You undertook a demanding aria and sang it effortlessly with grace.
I hope this is but the beginning of a fulfilling musical career.
Sincerely,

My wife and I attended your concert on Saturday in Stratford. You were simply spectacular! You voice is truly beautiful and the range of your repertoire is stunning. You took command of the stage from the very first note, and every aria and song were a delight to the senses. The Jewel Song was the highlight of the evening for us. It was as good as anything we have ever heard at any opera house in the country. We will be at every concert you perform in the area. Thank you for the wonderful evening!

Christina, I heard you sing at the Cabaret at St. Paul's this past Saturday. I am looking forward to your show this Saturday evening. Your Italian Song was beautiful. We are marrying this December and we recently celebrated our reunion (we were married for 21 years and divorced in 1998, only to reunite this past summer) with a trip to Italy and Greece. Thank you for your generosity and your dedication to St. Paul's. ... And I do hope you sing Ave Maria for us.

You posses a voice of extraordinary beauty and clarity; the mark of a great lyric coloratura soprano. You also have an ease in performing that is characteristic of many of the great sopranos of the past. We will be in the audience at every event that is in our area. My God continue to bless you.
